Pagosa Springs Rotary Club
Past Presidents, Kim Moore and Shellie Peterson and President Elect, Mike Vanover and his wife Renee, were thrilled to accept the Presidential Citation Award with Distinction at the District 5470 Conference at the Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort this past weekend.
This prestigious award signifies the dedication of the members of the Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs to support the strategic priorities of Rotary International by being people of action changing the lives of families and communities across the world.
The Durango Club was similarly called out for distinguished service with the DD Monroe Award. This award is made annually by the District Governor to recognize the BEST Club in the District. This is the highest award given by Rotary District 5470 to recognize truly vibrant Clubs. The Rotary Club of Pagosa Springs was awarded this honor in 2017-2018.
Rotary still is, and always will be, the organization Paul Harris envisioned: a place where people from every corner of the earth can come together to become something greater than themselves.
