The Pagosa Springs High School Interact Club held their second Bake Sale on May 9 at City Market to raise money for ShelterBox, their international service project this year. These amazing students aim to support families around the world who need emergency shelter after disasters.
Right now, more than 117 million people around the world have lost their homes to disaster and conflict.
ShelterBox exists to ensure no one is without shelter after disaster. They often work in places that others don’t, making sure that we reach families who need support to take the next step in resuming their livelihoods and rebuilding their communities.
If you want to learn more about Shelter Box, here is the link https://shelterboxusa.org/ and if you see these students be sure to support their effort.
